I designed this pen at the suggestion of a friend to showcase the bounty of the sea surrounding Nova Scotia. I worked with a laser engraver in the US to make the 11  wooden inserts that make up the seashell design of the pen. As a rollerball or fountain pen, this makes a unique writing instrument.
