The apple and birdseye maple are two of my favourite Nova Scotia woods. The apple wood comes from trees that are over 150 years old. The birdseye maple has been harvested from the old growth forests of Nova Scotia - you can see the little birdseye peeking out at you. Curly Maple has a unique stripe in it.
