Nautical Wooden Pens

I collect nautical woods from ships around the world. It has taken me many years and a lot of treasure to put together this collection for you. I have learned a lot of historical nautical information and it has been a joy to stretch my horizons. I  want to thank the many museums around the world for preserving their historical ships and sharing the wood that was surplus to their requirements.

It is amazing that the wood from the HMS Victory is still so solid after these many centuries. The southern live oak of the USS Constitution was a bit fragile and I had to send it back to the US to have it stabilized. Isn't it beautiful?

I want to thank the excellent folks down at the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax for their generous sharing of nautical information with me.

If you know of other nautical woods that are available, I would love to hear from you.
